People always wish to stay in Kuala Lumpur, where they can find their dreams, their career or even build their business. Everything is possible when you’re in Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur is the busiest town in Malaysia, some people called it as “The city thats never sleeps”, not only the city never sleeps, people living in this city also sleepless.
I need a breaks. I need a holiday far far away from Kuala Lumpur, better to go island, surround by the sea, away from works, from all the burden/stress.
“Pulau Langkawi” pop out in my minds, yes, let’s go…
Langkawi Island, well known as Pulau Langkawi located up north in Malaysia, one of the beautiful island in Malaysia. It also have the famous Black Sand Beach, where you can step on the black sand instead of white/brown. There are so many other interesting location in Langkawi, let me tells you more about them.
We can’t miss this Langkawi Sky Bridge. It is a 125 metre-long curved pedestrian bridge that set 700 metres above sea level. Stand on the bridge, you can view the verdant Gunung Mat Cincang, Telaja Tujuh waterfalls, and several islets surrounding Langkawi. It is only accessible via the final station of the Langkawi Cable Car ride, which is priced at RM35 for adults and RM25 for children (2 to 12 years old).

At Kuah, there is a prominent landmark, Dataran Lang a.k.a. Eagle Square. There is a 12m tall sculpture of an eagle (like the image above). Around this landmark, there are Kuah Jetty, Jetty Point Mall and etc… This is a favourite spot for me, especially in the evening, the view is fascinating. An evening walk around this landmark will chase away all your disturb minds.
Under World Langkawi located beside Pantai Cenang beach town. There are more than 500 species of sea creatures including harbour seals, rockhopper penguins, seahorses, as well as flamingos. As you see from the picture above, there is a 15m walkthrough underwater tunnel, where we can have closer views of giant stingrays.
After been to Under World Langkawi, please do not miss the duty-free shopping, Zon Shopping Paradise.

The most tiring day, is the day you go to Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls (7 wells waterfalls). It really so tired to climb the steep stairs to climb to the top of the waterfalls, it takes around 45minutes to climb it. The waterfalls water is so cold, some tourist will dip in to enjoys the breeze…
Another best thing todo in Langkawi is Scuba diving & Snorkelling. There are so many service provider at Kuah Jetty, they will have different package for different type of needs. Just choose your package carefully, pick the one suit your needs.
Beside attraction of Langkawi, you need to take care about the logistic and accommodation, you need to book the right flight, the comfortable hotel to make the whole trip near perfect.
I personally recommend to book flight ticket through Traveloka Malaysia, it ease the whole process. Just click Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi Air Tickets and you pick your travel date, and you will have all the flight info, including the price comparison.
Is so easy, right? Remember when my first experience in purchase flight ticket, I got to drive to travel agent office to book the air ticket, no comparison, buy whatever they’d proposed. Most of the time, we unable to purchase the lowest cost air ticket.
Is time to pack your stuff, let’s go…
