6 finalists (3 female & 3 male) from Malaysia were selected to join the other 18 finalists from Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan to take part in the grand finale which will be held at the Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur on Friday the 13th of April, 2018, from 7pm to 10pm. One female winner and one male winner will be selected from each country to represent their respective countries for the grand finals in Seoul, South Korea on 5 May 2018. One female and one male will also be selected as the winners of the 2018 Face Of Asia -Pacific. In the grand finale, 5 celebrity awards will also be given out to the top celebrities of the year, namely in the fields of acting, singing, hosting, blogging and social media.
In 2018, the Face of Asia-Pacific model search aims to look for the next face of Asia that embodies not just the qualities to be a supermodel, but possesses the talent and passion to be in the entertainment spotlight as well. In today’s digital age, the contestants must also be able to kick up a storm on social media networks, as well as possessing the natural flair to own the centre of attraction at public events.
