Sin Hoy How, another iconic KL coffee shop to shut after 84 years, they are the latest victim of the COVID-19 lockdowns in Malaysia. According to the owners of Sin Hoy How, the reason behind the decision is due to the losses caused by COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.

Remembering the first time I step into this little Kopitiam with Go Asia Plus Team, surprise when my first sip of their coffee, taste heavenly great. Sad that I didn’t visit them for million times before MCO, and before the news of their closure.

Sin Hoy How Kopitiam was established in 1937 and it been a famous kopitiam throughout all these years in Kuala Lumpur. They have their own coffee powder and they been supplying coffee powder to other kopitiam too. There are not many Kopitiam can maintain the authentic Kopi all the years.

They’re famous with their Coffee which we used to called as “Kopi” and toast with half boiled eggs. Now they also serving breakfast and lunch with their famous Curry Noodles. Coffee and toast always the best match all the time and is my favourite too.

The shop always full of lunch crowd as it located at the center of the city and surrounded with all the offices and if you want to avoid the lunch crowd, please be there early and moreover they close kinda early by 14:00pm.

The have 2 type of milk coffee, one is traditional way to cook it and another one is blended by the machine. Try both of them, and you will have a great coffee experience.

Please order their curry noodles, no matter the dry curry noodles or the soup type, both is the best.
