Two more new Covid-19 Infected in Malaysia brings the total number to 25 people infected.
The 24th infected involved a Japanese Women who work in Malaysia, she travelled to Japan and Indonesia recently. She had fever on 17 Feb and seek treatment same day, can take the Covid-19 test on 20 Feb, result positive, currently quarantine at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
The 25th case involved a Italian Man who married to a Malaysian. He traveled back to Italy 15 – 21 Feb and showing symptom on the next day and confirmed infected on 28 Feb. currently quarantine at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia has imposed a temporary ban on all visitors from South Korea (including foreigners) who had travelled to Daegu city and Cheongdo district in the last 14 days before arriving in Malaysia, also includes those who are transiting in Malaysia.
Malaysians are advised to postpone all travels to cities and provinces in China affected by the epidemic, as well as to South Korea, Japan, Italy and Iran.
